FESTIVE WEEKEND
To celebrate the "fête de la musique", the NEC invites you to an exceptional evening of dancing, hosted alternately by DJ Mathieu Ogier and the instrumentalists. It's up to you whether you just want to listen or take to the dance floor!
The new creations Pole dance and Bazaar pay tribute to dances from the 1920s to the 1950s: tango, waltz, ragtime, foxtrot, boogiewoogie, mambo, rumba and cha-cha-cha. Highlighting the characteristics of each dance, the two composers bring their imagination and humor to bear, while leaving plenty of room for improvisation. The pieces in this concert bring the bodies of the dancers into close contact with each other, and bring back to life a much-lamented era, all the more so as they are performed during a festive evening of dancing, where everyone can take to the dance floor! All the more reason to celebrate the NEC's 30th anniversary in style.
