The Canadian quartet Bozzini, very active on the contemporary music scene in the United States and Europe, is a champion of new, experimental and classical music, with a strong emphasis on risk-taking.

This quartet, which was in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2023 to perform a work by Jürg Frey with the saxophone quartet Konus Quartett, returns to present us with works by Canadian composers as well as two pieces from the contemporary Swiss repertoire. Thanks to their rigorous approach, these brilliant performers have contributed to the creation of a varied repertoire that defies trends and fashions. Their open, collaborative approach has led to many innovative productions, including interdisciplinary projects involving video, theatre and dance. Over the years, the Bozzini Quartet has commissioned over 400 works and premiered nearly 500.

As part of this concert, a public masterclass will be given to a quartet of students from the Haute école de musique Genève-Neuchâtel on the 1. November.
